2013 (34) September (2) August (6) July (4) June (4) May (5) April (3) February (5)

Marianne: Autumn has come to Utah. As in previous years, it's incredibly beautiful now that the colors on the trees turn red and yellow shades - and the temperature arizona mills stores drops more bearable level. We have for some time been the unusually arizona mills stores warm for the season (say meteorologist markets - and we believe in!) Into October we hovered around 30 degrees ... Anita & Lars at Gardsmans Pass While we still wrote the month of September, came Anita and Lars Online. Anita had given Lars a trip to the United States when he recently turned 40 - and they started out with a visit to Bountiful. It was SO great to have them here! We enjoyed ourselves tremendously and I took them up on the now almost obligatory trip over Gardsmans Pass, which runs from Big Cottonwood Canyon to Park City. It should be added that eventually I would have no the road was in July, when Mette (Anita's sister), Soren, Stine and Anne were here. Since we had to give our undertaking - because of snow! Park City offered lunch in the brewery and shopping in Tanger Outlet. I do not think I reveal too much by writing to the trunk of the rented Toyota Camry was well filled - and we had all contributed. We did not get home in time to cook - so we had to call Michael and ask him to meet us at the Texas Roadhouse, where we ate. He was not too upset. VERY concentrated! We played schulbak the evening. Something that obviously required a lot of concentration. The result I want, since I am one of the hosts, arizona mills stores remain without comment ... Anita and Lars left us on Wednesday 5 October in order to go to San Francisco, where they were to spend some days there where Lars in his time was an au pair. Part of their program was that they should eat lunch at Pebble Beach - the world's arguably the most famous golf course. Unfortunately they did not get the chance to play there. Lars welcomed in particular - and Michael was probably a liiille wee bit miundelig. However, it was not better as they managed to get tickets to Saturday's matches in PGAturneringen arizona mills stores at CordeValle near San Jose, CA. We have subsequently received a greeting from Tiger :-) Snowball Fight Thursday arrived Ruth from Kolding and her friend Kirsten. arizona mills stores That morning the first snow fell we've seen in years - it was a pretty cold morning walk! It did, however to rain - and we felt so fairly OK. Not too depressed about the sudden change of weather. Friday would Ruth and Kirsten like to see interest and I took them (obviously) with the Big Cottonwood Canyon. Autumn - or winter? Here, hiking and trekking arizona mills stores we Donut Falls trail before we continued to Gardsmans Pass and Park City. As can be seen from the picture, it was a nogenic different experience than we were prepared for. There were LOTS of snow! There was at least 10 cm. - We went VERY careful in the snow, wet leaves. It was very beautiful - and happily showed the weather forecast that we would get warmer weather in a few days, so it was really just a pretty fun experience. Gardsmans Pass 01-10-2011 How for fun I took a picture up at Gardsmans Pass - virtually the same place as I had taken just over a week earlier, when I was the same place with Anita and Lars. The difference arizona mills stores is quite striking! To give a little extra color to the story, I can tell that we saw a lot of young guys come up with snowboards and skis - the first snow had to be tested! And it was possible - although the course required that they went up the mountain, because there are no lifts are open. (Right here there are not any, but it is one of the highest points of which are accessible by car). Gardsmans Pass 10-10-2011 To no one now to feel too depressed, I can tell that Ruth, Kirsten and today I have been out to hike right near where we live - and we ended up just going in t-shirts for the second was too hot! And temperturen is on the rise. But the snow is still there and looks great on the highest mountain peaks - and I wonder if we can expect that it does so again next spring?
